Knights of Columbus are catholic men, 18 years or older. Over a centry ago, with the inspiration of Father J McGiven, the young parish priest, men of the parish organized the first council of the Knights of Columbus; the objective was to help the church, famies and their community.
The Knights of Columbus credo is Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. These men are firmly committed to the protection of human life, from conception to natural death, and to the defense and preservation of family. Knights of Columbus are a fraternal organization working to help our church, the disadvantaged, and the needy.
Our council, Holy Trinity Council 9990, was founded by 33 parish members on the 13th of February 1989 and in the space of thirty years membership has grown from a small group to more than 100. Our council and similar councils strive to make our communities a better place to live.
If you are 18 or older, catholic, and attending church on a regular basis you meet the criteria of being a knight and we welcome you to apply for membership. See our home page and contact our membership director or grand knight, they will see you get a membership form. You can also, now sign up on line from the Knights of Columbus web site.
